Families are at the heart of “presence over perfection.” It’s so easy to get caught up in how the house looks or how your children behave. The reality is, I do not need perfection to capture your family. In fact, I tend to give my sessions the freedom to be child-led. Go with the flow is the name of the game. Consider this your permission to let go of any pressure to perform and just “be” with your family.
Too often mothers are left behind the camera without many documented memories with their loved ones. A documentary film gives you the opportunity to relive those cherished moments through a new lens. You get the movement and the voices that photos can’t translate, like the silly way they say “strawberries” or how they jump into your lap to snuggle with you. These all fade away in a blink of an eye and a documentary film allows you to preserve these times it like it was yesterday.

Are you a senior, business owner, or just looking for some new pics? You’ve come to the right place. What I love about these individual sessions: seniors get complimentary photos with their bestie if you choose to bring one and business owners get killer branding shots. Honestly, the possibilities are endless with an individual lifestyle session. Let’s show the world how ridiculously cool you are.

Documentary film add-on:
Laurel took our family photos and she did such an amazing job! With my daughter being only 6 months old, Laurel made the session very laid back and relaxed. She was flexible on time and spent extra time to go over some inspiration photos for the session. The photos she captured in our natural home environment made me tear up. It was the first family photos we have ever had taken and it was just so special to have a lasting memory of our little family at home. Highly recommend booking an in-home family photo session with Laurel!

The whole family was very comfortable! Some photographers have been more on the quiet side and reserved, this was the total opposite and exactly what we all needed! She played some music throughout the session and it was just a fun time overall!
